Derrick Favors has efficient outing in first game back for Jazz

Utah Jazz forward/center Derrick Favors scored 19 points on an efficient 9-of-14 shooting in Friday's 109-95 win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

What It Means:

There was hope that Favors would look rejuvenated after the break, so tonight should be very encouraging for his fantasy owners. He played 26 minutes and added seven rebounds, two assists and two blocks. The Jazz had "light conversations" with teams about Favors at the deadline, so he has a lot to prove to the franchise the rest of the season. Favors is entering his contract year in the 2017-18 season.

This year, Favors has earned per-game averages of 23.5 minutes, 9.4 points, and 6.1 rebounds, with a .479 Effective Field Goal Rate. This is a marked decline from the previous three seasons, which came in at averages of 30.9 minutes, 15.2 points, and 8.4 rebounds with a .521 Effective Field Goal Rate.
