Wizards' John Wall double-doubles in blowout win over the Thunder
Washington Wizards point guard John Wall didn't appear to be slowed down by his ankle injury on Monday, finishing with 15 points, 14 assists, 5 rebounds, 2 blocks and 1 steal in 30 minutes of action as the Wizards blew out the Oklahoma City Thunder 120-98.
Wall didn't practice on Sunday or participate in Monday's shootaround, but he was able to play, and as an added bonus the blowout meant that he didn't have to play huge minutes after notching 40-plus in three of his last five. Expect the ankle injury to be behind him now.
Wall finished Monday's win with an 18.2 nERD, which was good for fourth among Wizards players. He ranks third on the team and 36th in the league with a 4.2 nERD on the season.
