76ers list Joel Embiid as out for Monday
Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (knee) has been listed as out for Monday's game against the Charlotte Hornets.
What It Means:
It was reported over the weekend that Embiid has a "very minor," tear in his meniscus, which is the reason for his lengthy absence. He will be out until after the All Star Break and with Jahlil Okafor apparently close to being traded, Nerlens Noel could have serious fantasy value until Embiid is back.
Our models originally expected Noel to post 8.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.1 assists over just 17.3 minutes on Monday, but he could be looking at closer to 30 minutes if Okafor is out or traded.
