Kings' Ty Lawson day-to-day with mild left adductor strain
Sacramento Kings point guard Ty Lawson received an MRI that revealed a mild strain of his left adductor, and he is listed as day-to-day.
Lawson was originally believed to be dealing with a hamstring strain, but the MRI revealed otherwise. Darren Collison is going to be plenty busy running the point for Sacramento, and Malachi Richardson figures to replace Lawson as the primary backup.
Lawson is averaging 24.6 minutes per game this season and has the sixth-highest usage rate on the team (18.9 percent). His -1.8 nERD is fourth-worst on the Kings.
