Joel Embiid will not play Wednesday or Thursday for Philadelphia
Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (left knee) will not play Wednesday against the San Antonio Spurs or Thursday against the Orlando Magic.
It's beginning to look like Embiid might be shut down until after the All Star Break. After Thursday, the Sixers only have three more games left before the break. Embiid's next chance to play will be at home on February 11 against the Miami Heat. Jahlil Okafor should continue holding down the starting center spot until Embiid's return.
Our models project Okafor for 12.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.1 blocks over 25.3 minutes against the Spurs on Wednesday.
