Kyle O'Quinn

Knicks expected to start Kyle O'Quinn on Monday

New York Knicks center Kyle O'Quinn is expected to start in place of center Joakim Noah (hamstring) on Monday against the Los Angeles Lakers.

What It Means:

Despite O'Quinn being the expected starter, Willy Hernangomez has been out-playing both Noah and O'Quinn recently, so expect him to get plenty of run on Monday as well. O'Quinn is averaging 8.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.0 blocks in his six previous starts, but he is also averaging about 4.5 fouls per-36 minutes in those six games.

O'Quinn is averaging 6.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.2 blocks over 14.9 minutes per game this season. He owns a .527 effective field goal percentage and his nERD of 0.4 ranks him 120th among all players.
