DeMar DeRozan (ankle) makes an early exit for Toronto against Phoenix
Toronto Raptors shooting guard DeMar DeRozan racked up 22 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block before making an early exit with an ankle injury as the Raptors lost to the Phoenix Suns on Sunday.
The injury appeared to occur about midway through the fourth quarter, and while he initially tried to play through it, he ended up being sidelined with only 90 seconds left in a one-point game. Toronto's next matchup is on Tuesday, so we should have a better idea of his availability for that one after tomorrow morning's shootaround.
If DeRozan does suit up for Tuesday's game against the San Antonio Spurs, our models project him for 26.8 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.0 assists in 36.4 minutes of action.
