Washington's John Wall (wrist, finger) may require MRI Thursday

Washington Wizards point guard John Wall (wrist, finger) had X-rays come back negative, but may also undergo an MRI on Thursday.

What It Means:

He played through the injuries on Wednesday, toughing it out for 39 minutes of action, but he went an ugly 4-of-21 from the field in that one. The Wizards don't play until Saturday, so expect to hear more about his status as we get closer to the game.

Despite his .190 field goal percentage in Wednesday's loss being his worst mark of the season, Wall has had a great season on the offensive end. His 22.8 points and 10.3 assists per game are both career-highs, as are his .544 true shooting percentage and 23.2 player efficiency rating. He ranks third among Wizards players and 56th in the NBA with a 2.0 nERD on the season.
