Tyler Johnson scores 18 points in his return for Miami

Miami Heat guard Tyler Johnson (mouth) returned on Wednesday with 18 points, seven assists, two rebounds, one steal and one turnover in 28 minutes.

What It Means:

Johnson missed Monday's game after some oral surgery but he came back and played well in 28 minutes on Wednesday. With Dion Waiters out for the next few weeks and Josh Richardson ailing, Johnson could gain some extra playing time over the next few weeks.

Johnson is having a nice season for the Heat off the bench, averaging 12.7 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game. He has a .486 effective field goal percentage and a 0.9 nERD, which is good for 55th in the NBA.
