Seth Curry to be key factor for Mavericks
Dallas Mavericks point guard Seth Curry will play a "significant role" to begin the 2016-17 season.
Devin Harris (foot) is set to start the year on the shelf, and a Deron Williams injury is guaranteed, so Curry is going to be guaranteed minutes for Dallas by default. He's worth a late-round pick after averaging 16.4 points, 5.3 assists and 3.3 3-pointers per game in April at the end of last season.
Our models expect Curry to shoot 44.2 percent from the field and 40.8 percent from distance this season, projecting him to average 7.2 points and 1.3 3-pointers per game.
