Nuggets' Will Barton drawing interest

The Denver Nuggets have received calls from multiple teams about acquiring guard/forward Will Barton, according to Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post.

What It Means:

Barton is apparently drawing first round picks on the market, but it's unclear if the Nuggets have actually made him available. With two years left on a deal totaling about $7 million, his contract is an absolute steal. However, his fantasy prospects are bleak this season with Jamal Murray in the fold and Wilson Chandler (hip) returning from injury. Gary Harris would be the better selection in Denver.

Barton averaged 14.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.4 3-pointers on a .535 true shooting percentage last season, all of which were career-highs.
