Nets give Tyler Johnson four-year, $50 million offer

Restricted free agent Tyler Johnson has agreed to a four-year, $50 million offer sheet with the Brooklyn Nets.

What It Means:

With Dwyane Wade headed to Chicago to sign with the Bulls, the Miami Heat may be more inclined to match the Nets' offer for Johnson. Whether it be in Brooklyn or Miami, the 24-year-old will have a lot more on his plate next season. $50 million isn't too shabby for someone who went undrafted just three seasons ago.

Johnson finished the regular season with a 0.5 nERD, good for 75th in the league. He averaged 8.7 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 24.0 minutes per game with a .543 effective field goal percentage.
