Clippers re-sign Wesley Johnson for three years, $18 million
Unrestricted free agent forward Wesley Johnson has agreed to a three-year, $18 million deal to re-sign with the Los Angeles Clippers.
Johnson appeared in 80 games for LA last season, and he will continue to provide wing depth for the Clippers for the next three seasons. He started nine games last season and was pretty solid when called upon, so for only $6 million per season, it's a solid depth move for the Clips.
Johnson averaged 6.9 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 20.8 minutes per game last season. He owned a .504 effective field goal percentage, which was a career high despite shooting only 33.3 percent from beyond the arc.
