David Lee deal finally official
The Celtics have finalized their deal with the Warriors sending Gerald Wallace and Chris Babb to the Bay Area while receiving David Lee in return.
Lee, a two-time All-Star, will add valuable veteran presence on a young Cetlics squad that looks to make a run in a weak Eastern Conference. Chris Babb and Gerald Wallace saw barely any action last year in Boston and most likely will face the same fate with Golden State as Steve Kerr is content with his already championship-caliber squad.
Lee averaged 7.9 points and 5.2 boards in 18.4 minutes per game while posting an impressive 2.7 nERD, which would rank third on the current Boston roster.
