Kelly Olynyk is questionable for Celtics in Game 3
Boston Celtics center Kelly Olynyk (shoulder) is questionable for Game 3 against the Atlanta Hawks on Friday.
Olynyk was disappointed he couldn't play in Game 2 and was ruled out about 90 minutes before tip on Tuesday. Not even going through warmups is slightly discouraging for his chances, but two full days off makes a big difference. If he can't go, it'll be basically be Tyler Zeller stepping up with Jonas Jerebko becoming more important for spacing.
Olynyk ranked 54th with a 2.7 nERD through the regular season. He averaged 10.0 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.2 3-pointers with a career-high 56.1 True Shooting Percentage in 20.2 minutes per game. Down two-games-to-none in the series, our models currently give the Celtics just a 1.0 percent chance at winning the NBA championship this season.
