K.J. McDaniels signs three-year deal with Rockets
The Houston Rockets and K.J. McDaniels have agreed to a three-year, $10 million deal.
What It Means:
McDaniels posted a poor -4.4 nERD last season while averaging 7.9 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks on the Rockets and 76ers. He also produced a subpar 10.6 Player Efficiency Rating to place him outside the top 350 in the NBA. He will have to compete for playing time with multiple wings in Houston including Trevor Ariza, Corey Brewer and Sam Dekker this upcoming season.
