Hornets' Cody Martin (back) doubtful for Sunday
The Charlotte Hornets have downgraded Cody Martin (back) to doubtful for Sunday's game against the Detroit Pistons.
Martin is now listed as doubtful for Sunday's game after escaping the team's earlier injury reports. The third-year forward had just returned from a six-game absence due to ankle and Achilles issues on Friday, and is now in danger of missing yet another game with a back injury.
Martin has already played more minutes this season (1,347) than he had in either of his first two seasons. He's averaging 10.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per 36 minutes in the 2021-22 season.
