Hornets' Nicolas Batum, Cody Zeller questionable Wednesday

Charlotte Hornets guard/forward Nicolas Batum (sprained left ankle) and center Cody Zeller (sternum contusion) are being listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Orlando Magic.

What It Means:

A win or a loss will not affect Charlotte's playoff standings, so it wouldn't be surprising at all to see these guys withheld from Wednesday's game. Jeremy Lin figures to see the biggest boost in value sans Batum while there will also be more opportunity for guys like Troy Daniels and Jeremy Lamb. Al Jefferson will likely start again on Wednesday if Zeller is out, and he'd be someone to consider as a punt play in DFS.

Batum owns a -0.5 nERD, which ranks 79th, in 70 games played this season. He's averaging a career-best 14.9 points, 5.8 assists and 6.1 rebounds to go with a 54.6 True Shooting Percentage. Zeller's 5.9 nERD ranks 26th, and his 8.8 points and 6.3 rebounds per game are career highs. His 59.2 True Shooting Percentage is also a career best. Our models currently give the Hornets just a 1.8 percent chance at winning the NBA championship.
