Killian Hayes (thumb) out at least two more games for Pistons
Detroit Pistons point guard Killian Hayes will miss at least the next two games while he recovers from his thumb injury.
Hayes is dealing with a sprained thumb, and the team will reportedly keep the second-year point guard out for at least two more games while he makes his recovery. Cory Joseph started in Hayes' place in last night's loss against the Los Angeles Lakers and played 38.62 minutes in his stead.
The 20-year-old has seen similar production in 2021 so far as he did in his 2020 rookie season, averaging 5.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per contest, but has managed to cut his turnovers nearly in half from 3.2 per game to 1.8. He has averaged 19.1 fantasy points per game so far this season.
