Deandre Ayton (leg) questionable for Suns versus Timberwolves
Phoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton (leg) is questionable to play Monday against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Ayton missed six of the last seven games with a bruised lower leg, but he appears to be on the verge of a return after the Suns had been listing him as doubtful. JaVale McGee will likely draw another start Monday if Ayton remains out, with Frank Kaminsky seeing additional minutes off the bench again.
numberFire’s models project Ayton for 29.8 FanDuel points in 28.3 minutes and he has a $7,800 salary on Monday. Per our NBA Heat Map, the Suns-Timberwolves game has the highest over/under (222.5) on Monday's 11-game slate and the Suns have the second-highest implied total (113.3). Minnesota is allowing the seventh-most FanDuel points per game to the center position this season.
