76ers' Furkan Korkmaz starting on Thursday in place of injured Ben Simmons
Philadelphia 76ers guard Furkan Korkmaz is entering the starting five on Thursday in the team's game against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Korkmaz has been coming off the bench so far this season, but starting point guard Ben Simmons is sidelined due to an injury - a surprise given that he was listed as probable entering the day. With the star on the sidelines, Seth Curry will slide over to the point guard role, and Korkmaz will enter the starting five on the wing.
Our models currently project Korkmaz for 5.9 points, 2.1 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 11.0 FanDuel points across 16.6 minutes of action.
