George Hill (thumb) ruled out for Thunder versus Trail Blazers after late add

Oklahoma City Thunder guard George Hill is out for Monday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers due to a sprained right thumb.

What It Means:

Hill scored a season-high 22 points on Sunday and didn't appear to have any issues with his thumb, so it's possible Monday's absence has more to do with the Thunder playing on a back-to-back. Justin Jackson drew a start in the only other game Hill missed this season but he's been a healthy scratch in recent games. Hamidou Diallo could get the nod on Monday.

The Trail Blazers are allowing the fourth-most FanDuel points per game to the point guard position this season. Jackson scored 10.9 FanDuel points over 29.2 minutes in his previous start this year. Hill is recording a 16.9 percent usage rate, second-lowest on the Thunder.
