76ers' Joel Embiid (knee) ruled out for Saturday and Sunday
Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (knee) will not travel on the team's weekend road trip to Memphis and Oklahoma City due to right knee pain.
What It Means:
Embiid's absence is being called precautionary. Sitting out this weekend's back-to-back provides him with five days of rest before next Wednesday's clash with the Boston Celtics. Mike Scott (knee) has also been ruled out.
Embiid is averaging 25.0 points, 11.5 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.5 blocks, and 48.4 FanDuel points per game so far this season.
