Tremont Waters replacing Kemba Walker (knee) in Celtics' lineup Thursday afternoon
Boston Celtics point guard Tremont Waters will start in Thursday's regular-season finale against the Washington Wizards.
The Celtics are holding out all of their starters on Thursday since they have already secured the No. 3 seed in the East. The absences of Kemba Walker (knee) and Marcus Smart (rest) will open up plenty of minutes in the backcourt for Waters in his first career start. The second-round rookie has yet to appear in the bubble and he's played in just 10 games all season. Tip-off is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. ET.
numberFire's models expect Waters to score 17.0 FanDuel points on Thursday afternoon.
