Timberwolves reportedly acquiring Juan Hernangomez from Nuggets

The Minnesota Timberwolves are acquiring forward Juan Hernangomez from the Denver Nuggets in a four-team, 12-player deal, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

What It Means:

The Timberwolves shipped off Robert Covington, Keita Bates-Diop, Jordan Bell, and Noah Vonleh in the deal, so Hernangomez may step in as the new starting power forward. Jarred Vanderbilt, who was also acquired in the trade, seems poised to back up Hernangomez.

Hernangomez averaged 7.8 FanDuel points and 12.4 minutes in 34 games for the Nuggets this season.
