Dante Cunningham coming off Pelicans' bench, Alonzo Gee starting
New Orleans Pelicans forward Dante Cunningham (illness) will come off the bench on Monday with Alonzo Gee starting.
Cunningham dealt with an illness on Thursday and did not play on Saturday. He can be left on the wire in just about all leagues right now. Gee had 12 points, six boards, three assists and a steal in a start on Saturday against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Cunningham, who ranks 93rd in the NBA with a -2.0 nERD on the year, has had a fairly limited impact for the Pelicans this season. His minutes are down from previous season, at 19.6 per game. Cunningham's 107 Offensive Rating ranks 10th on the team while his 110 Defensive Rating ranks ninth.
