Derrick Favors (back) out for Jazz Friday night

Utah Jazz forward/center Derrick Favors (back) will not play against the Brooklyn Nets on Friday.

What It Means:

With tomorrow's game being postponed, Favors will be out for over a month because his last game was way back on December 23. The Jazz were a tad misleading by listing him as day-to-day with this injury. We'll see more of Trey Lyles and Trevor Booker at power forward.

His 5.8 nERD still ranks 30th overall. Favors is putting up career-highs this year with 16.8 points per game and a 55.8 True Shooting Percentage. In 26 games as a starter, Lyles is averaging 6.6 points and 5.5 rebounds on 24.4 minutes a contest. His -1.9 nERD is 100th in the league.
