Kevin Martin (wrist) expected to play for Timberwolves
Minnesota Timberwolves guard Kevin Martin (wrist) is expected to play on Friday against the Sacramento Kings.
Martin missed one game with the wrist injury, but he was feeling a lot better this morning and apparently felt fine pre-game. He will likely come off the bench and play minutes in the low teens. Tayshaun Prince, Shabazz Muhammad and Zach LaVine will play a bit less tonight.
Martin has gotten off to a slow start this season, and his -2.5 nERD ranks 102nd. He's averaging 12.7 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 23 games played. Against the Kings, we project him to score 10.5 points, grab 2.3 boards and dish out 1.1 assists.
