Tiago Splitter (hip) upgraded to questionable for Hawks
Atlanta Hawks center Tiago Splitter (hip) has been upgraded to questionable for Friday's game versus the Los Angeles Lakers.
What It Means:
Atlanta coach Mike Budenholzer said he would take a "wait-and-see approach" with the big man. Splitter will be on heavily restricted minutes even if he does play, so he's best avoided tonight against the Lakers. Expect Mike Muscala to get the bulk of the minutes in his place. Splitter has missed the past six games.
Splitter has a -0.4 nERD on the season and is averaging 5.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and not much else for the Hawks on the year. Muscala had two points, four boards, an assist and a block in 19 minutes on Wednesday.
