Nuggets' Will Barton seeking additional opinions on hip injury
Denver Nuggets guard/forward Will Barton (right hip/core) is seeking "second and third opinions" on his MRI results.
What It Means:
The Nuggets announced Monday that Barton is dealing with a right hip and core strain but didn't provide any timetable for his return. Torrey Craig, Juan Hernangomez, and Trey Lyles should benefit while Barton is out.
Barton averaged 30.0 FanDuel points in two games, with 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 0.5 steals, 1.0 blocks, and 2.5 3-pointers in 27.0 minutes.
