DeMarcus Cousins has the ninth-highest salary of the night, while numberFire projects him to be the fourth-best DraftKings play of the day. When you look at his past against the Los Angeles Lakers, it's pretty easy to see why.

Cousins has put up 13.0 points, 9.5 boards, 4.5 assists, and 34.1 DraftKings points in an average of just 22.6 minutes against the Lakers this season. In his last game against them, he put up 42.0 DraftKings points in just 25 minutes. His history against them while with the New Orleans Pelicans and Sacramento Kings is filled with more of the same dominance.

The only question remains is, how much run will he actually see tonight? The Lakers are 13-point dogs at home this evening, so this game could get out of hand quickly. The good news is, the last time Cousins played fewer than 25 minutes in an away game was back on January 26 in what was just his fourth game back from injury.

As long as the Warriors don't decide to rest him here (there is no indication of that yet), then the minutes shouldn't be an issue. We have Cousins projected for 44.4 DraftKings points tonight. Not only is that the fourth-highest total on the slate as previously mentioned, but the nearly 6.3 DraftKings points per $1,000 makes him the highest-projected value play on the slate.
