Under $8,000, De'Aaron Fox's price isn't what you think of when you think stud, nor is he on the level of the usual suspects -- Giannis, Embiid or James Harden. For the most part, though, his recent production has him in the second-tier conversation.

Averaging 36.8 DraftKings points for his sophomore season, Fox has seen that jump to 39.3 in the last five -- and that's not the most impressive part. Those fantasy points have come in 32.2 minutes a game, which brings his per-minute output to 1.22 DraftKings points -- .07 above his season average, per NBA Wowy.

Fox has enjoyed a favorable schedule during this stretch, with the Los Angeles Lakers the highest-rated defense (13th) among them and three of those matchups versus top-12 teams in pace. Thursday's no different.

The Sacramento Kings are on the road against the New Orleans Pelicans, who are 3rd in the NBA in pace (103.92) and 23rd in defensive rating (111.6), equating to 116.3 opponent points per game and a slate-high 241.96 fantasy points against.

In a favorable spot, Fox is projected at 39.7 DraftKings points, which would return 5.22 points per $1,000 at his lower price tag.
