The Detroit Pistons have been in a major funk over their past two games. With blowout losses to the Brooklyn Nets and Miami Heat, they've looked like one of the worst teams in basketball this week. Power forward Blake Griffin certainly hasn't done anything to help.

The former Los Angeles Clippers star has scored just 28.25 and 26.0 DraftKings points in those two games, finishing with just 23 combined (real) points in those games. He and the Pistons will look to break out of their slumps tonight as they head home for a tilt against the reeling Los Angeles Lakers.

The Lakers had high hopes for the season, after signing LeBron James, but the team has shown little chemistry all season, something that's been exacerbated as the season's progressed. The Lakers have losing records in all three months of 2019 and are just 1-6 in March.

They've allowed the seventh-most DraftKings points per game to opposing fours over their past 15 games, and Griffin will look to take advantage of that tonight. Our models certainly think he will at least. We have him projected for 43.6 DraftKings points. Not only is that the eighth-highest projected total on the slate, it represents the second-best value for any player with a salary over $6,000.
