Frank Jackson, PG, New Orleans Pelicans

FanDuel Price: $3,700
Projected FanDuel Points: 10.3
Projected FanDuel Value: 2.79

The New Orleans Pelicans aren't technically eliminated from the playoffs, but they might as well be at this point. At 30-37, they're 7.5 games back with just 15 games to play. It's not happening. One of the only bright spots has been Jrue Holiday, who is still getting a full complement of minutes in what has been a career year for him. He unfortunately strained his abs, however, and is now out for at least a week.

Somebody will need to step into the starting lineup for him, and one of the most likely candidates to do so is rookie guard Frank Jackson. Jackson has regularly been seeing minutes in the 20s since late January, but he could easily get into the 30s tonight if he enters the starting five, which he has been a part of seven times this year.

Jackson has been turning it up of late, scoring double digits (and 20-plus FanDuel points) in three of his past five games. He's averaged just 17.3 FanDuel points in his previous starts, though he saw just 25.1 minutes in those games. Should he start tonight, he should easily eclipse that work load; he's played 25 or more minutes in six of his past eight contests, none of which were starts. We have him currently projected for just 10.3 FanDuel points, but expect that to jump if he's confirmed as the starter later today.
