Like many value plays, this one hinges on the availability of an injured teammate. The Miami Heat were without point guard Goran Dragic due to a calf injury during their win over the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday. With Dragic out, teammate Rodney McGruder was able to see extra run, finishing with 17 points, 6 boards, 2 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks in 26 minutes of run.

It's important to note that McGruder's playing time was inflated due to the fact the Heat were blowing out the Nets by the third quarter, but that situation could arise once again tonight as Dragic is questionable and the Heat host the 22-42 Atlanta Hawks in what should be a relatively easy home win.

If Dragic can give this a go, you're probably best avoiding McGruder, especially with a couple of better plays at this price point out there this evening. If Dragic once again sits, however, then the matchup bodes well for McGruder to once again provide solid value.
