3 NBA DraftKings Studs to Target on 3/1/19

As we alluded to already, we get The King and The Greek Freak facing off tonight at Staples Center. And again, the game script is there for fantasy upside. The underdog Lakers still have a respectable 116.5 total, which is 4.1 points above their season average and more than they've scored in four of their last five contests.

In those five games, James is averaging 65.5 DraftKings points per game and 1.65 points per minute while playing a ridiculous 39.5 minutes a night. The Lakers have needed him to shoulder a heavy load as they look to sneak into a playoff spot in the Western Conference, and all he's done since his return from injury is nearly average a triple-double on a 28.3% usage rate and 42.3% assist rate.

While Milwaukee ranks first in the league in defensive rating (104.0), first in opponent effective field goal percentage (50.0%) and second in defensive rebounding rate (75.7%), they do play at the league's sixth-fastest pace, averaging 103.08 possessions a game -- less than one possession off the Lakers' 103.99 pace. That feeds into the Lakers' hands with them scoring 19.0 fastbreak points per game, 5.0 coming from LeBron.

James is second in our Friday projections and only one of two players at or above 50 DraftKings points. He's a go-to play in any and all formats this evening.
