5 NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on 2/25/19

Dallas Mavericks point guard Jalen Brunson's potential FanDuel value tonight is almost completely dependent on the health of teammate Luka Doncic. Doncic has missed the past two games with a sore ankle, and he remains questionable for tonight's game against the Los Angeles Clippers.

While the playoffs aren't completely out of the picture yet for Dallas, the chances of them getting there have been made much slimmer by the team's recent four-game losing streak. The team isn't going to risk their superstar rookie's health for the small chance of getting in this year, so if there is any chance that his ankle is not 100%, then Brunson would likely step in again as the starting point guard.

The problem, of course, is the tipoff time for tonight's game. At 10:30 PM ET, the game is the last of the night, meaning we are unlikely to get word on Doncic's status early enough to make educated moves before the 7:00 PM ET deadline on FanDuel. This is where you can use FanDuel's best ball system to your advantage.

As you'll already be dropping one low score from your roster, there is little risk in using Brunson at $3,800 here. If he starts, great. You're getting a guy that has a chance to return very solid value as a starter. If not, you can just plan on dropping his score.
