Buddy: Hotter than Hield

After his first rack at the three-point competition last weekend, it was Buddy Hield who appeared to have the crispiest jumper. The honor would ultimately go to Joe Harris -- well-deserved -- but Buddy seemed to carry some of his recent form into that competition and put up a decent fight.

Hield has produced at least five-times value in six of his last ten games, thanks in large part to his hot shooting (of course) and his added production as a rebounder (six rebounds per game over that span) and passer (three assists).

The Kings (30-27) -- who remain one the fun surprises this season -- continue to battle for a playoff berth and Hield plays a massive role in whether or not the team succeeds in squeaking in.

You’re betting on a continued hot hand, but it’s a wave that seems worth the ride. Hield is reasonably priced in the mid-$6,000’s and he’s been a top-15 player on a cost-average basis over the last two weeks.

Buddy and the Kings have upcoming games against the Warriors, Thunder, Timberwolves, and Bucks.
