Anthony Davis, PF/C, New Orleans Pelicans

DraftKings Price: $10,300

If you've been an Anthony Davis owner in season-long fantasy leagues, you've been on nothing short of a roller coaster ride, one complete with dozens of loops, twists, and every other engineering contraption that could have been dreamed. That he has dealt with injuries is not surprising -- the dude suffers seemingly every little injury one can conjure -- but it's the rapport with the Pelicans as an organization that's, perhaps, caused the most hair pulling.

After Davis basically demanded a trade, teams came out of the woodwork to offer anything they could to get him. The Pelicans didn't budge, however, and in the process even sat Davis when he had already been medically cleared to play. It's hard to argue with the team's decision given Davis' clear lack of interest in the team, but they've decided to let him play out the season, despite there being little reason to given what they'd lose if he were to suffer a major injury.

Let their poor decisions be your opportunity as Davis is in a good position tonight to return solid value on DraftKings. Davis played a worrying 25 minutes in his first game back, but he saw 34 minutes of run in his next game against the Memphis Grizzlies, which should have quelled some playing time fears. They'll need him logging heavy minutes tonight if they want to stop the Orlando Magic's Nikola Vucevic in the midst of a career season.

Davis topped 50.0 DraftKings points in each of his first two games back, yet his price has plummeted from $11,800 on January 16 to just $10,300 this evening. That provides him with a chance to not only score a lot, but to also return a solid value. We have him projected for 54.7 DraftKings points tonight, a potential value of 5.3 points per $1,000.
