3 NBA DraftKings Studs to Target on 2/5/19

The Boston Celtics have already ruled out point guard Kyrie Irving due to a left hip strain. Unless you're new to fantasy basketball, you know that can only mean one thing: start Terry Rozier.

The fourth-year guard's output with and without Kyrie is about as different as you could fathom. Not only does his workload increase, but so too does his fantasy efficiency. Rozier's numbers skyrocket from 7.7 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 18.7 DraftKings points when Kyrie plays to 15.0, 5.6, 6.1, and 36.3, respectively, when he is out. His per-minute fantasy output moves dramatically from 0.87 to 1.19 DraftKings points.

Rozier has been fairly efficient against the Cleveland Cavaliers regardless of his starting role, averaging 1.20 DraftKings points per minute in 10 career games against them. He scored 48.0 DraftKings points in his lone start against the Cavs, which came on January 23. We currently have him projected for 30.9 DraftKings points, but he could easily blow past that number here.
