3 NBA DraftKings Studs to Target on 1/28/19

Given the short slate, tonight's DraftKings studs aren't quite as obvious as they are on some evenings. There is no James Harden. There is no Giannis Antetokounmpo. There is no Russell Westbrook. Anthony Davis is still out. Throw in Joel Embiid, LeBron James, and Paul George, and tonight's slate is free from the top seven fantasy players by DraftKings points per game.

Don't take that to mean that there aren't studs to use...far from it! One of the players who has been performing up to that standard of play is Boston Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving, who is in the midst of one of the best fantasy streaks of his career.

After putting up 32 points, 10 assists, and 6 boards in a 115-111 loss to the Golden State Warriors on Saturday, the All-Star guard has now scored at least 60.0 DraftKings points in three out of his past four games, raising his salary $1,000 in the process.

As long as the Brooklyn Nets are able to keep tonight's game reasonably close, Irving should have a shot to continue his recent fantasy outbursts. Given tonight's spread of 10.5 points, however, a close game might be easier thought that achieved. As such, you might consider reserving Irving for use in tournaments only to play it safe.
