Brooklyn Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie is having surgery today to fix his torn right-thumb ligaments. The surgery will sideline him for up to six weeks, and in the meantime, it will be Shabazz Napier who is the biggest beneficiary, both in minutes and fantasy potential.

With Dinwiddie out, Napier starred for the Nets in Friday night's win over the New York Knicks, finishing with a solid 18-point, 24.4-FanDuel-point performance. Whether he gets a starting nod or not is of little importance for Napier, who was tied for the team lead in minutes played in the 10-point win.

Tonight's matchup against the Boston Celtics will no doubt be tougher -- the C's are giving up the second-fewest FanDuel points per game to opposing point guards -- but our models indicate that Napier will be able to thrive, regardless. We project him for 26.1 FanDuel points -- just over 5.3 FanDuel points per $1,000.
