A really quick way to see a player's potential value without doing a ton of background research is to simply look at the ratio between their per-game FanDuel average and current FanDuel price, times 1,000. If you do this, then you consistently see that Minnesota Timberwolves power forward Taj Gibson is a player you can use as a cheaper option on almost every night.

Gibson's 24.1 FanDuel points per game gives him an implied value of 5.35 FanDuel points per $1,000. Removing injured players, that's the ninth-highest implied value on the slate tonight.

Of course, this is just a loose guide. Minutes and usage fluctuate heavily among value-priced players. Gibson, however, offers a refuge of consistency.
