If you had watched Luka Doncic play professionally before he entered the NBA, it seemed pretty clear that he'd thrive when entering the league. If you thought he'd be as dominant as he has been, then your prognostication skills are better than most.

Doncic in averaging an incredible 18.4 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 4.9 assists this season. That makes him one of just 10 rookies in NBA history -- and the first since Grant Hill in 1994-95 -- to average 18, 6, and 4. The list is littered with Hall of Famers, including Jordan, Kareem, Magic, and Bird.

Doncic has been even better in the past two weeks while Dennis Smith has been out dealing with a wrist injury. With Smith out, Doncic has changed to the de facto point guard and produced big results. His assists have spiked from 4.1 per game without Smith to 6.9 when Smith has sat. That 6.9 clip would rank 13th in the league if he were averaging it for the full season. We project him for 38.3 DraftKings points tonight with upside for 58.6.
