3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 12/19/18

Jeff Teague has already been ruled out for tonight's game against the Detroit Pistons. While Derrick Rose will get the start at point guard in his place, one of the biggest opportunities for value is in backup Tyus Jones.

While Jones got extended run in Monday's win over the Sacramento Kings because the Minnesota Timberwolves opened up such a big lead early in the game, our models still project him to see 22 minutes of run tonight.

That's more than enough time for him to hit value at his rock bottom price of $3,600, especially against a Pistons team that is giving up the eighth most DraftKings points per game to opposing point guards. We project him for a baseline of just 16.5 DraftKings points, but we have his upside at 33.6, meaning he won't kill your team, but he could certainly take your lineup to the next level.
