3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 12/18/18

There's bad shooting, and then there's Denver forward Trey Lyles' past three weeks. In his past nine games, Lyles has hit a third or fewer of his shots an astounding seven times. In those games, he's a combined 22-for-80 -- or just 27.5%.

Yikes.

He is, however, getting playing time thanks to the bevvy of Nuggets' injuries. While Will Barton is nearing a return, he's not going to play on Tuesday. Gary Harris and Paul Millsap are still out, as well, and there is a chance that Juan Hernangomez misses this evening's game with an abdominal strain.

That would leave Lyles with a clear path to 30-plus minutes, something he's done just twice this season. His shooting might not have been great lately, but he has finished with more than 20 DraftKings points in four of his last five games despite the shooting woes.

We project Lyles for a baseline of 19.9 DraftKings points with upside to hit 34.2.
