Before we delve any deeper into this, it's worth noting that Anthony Davis could miss tonight's tilt against the Boston Celtics due to a bruised hip suffered in last night's win over the Detroit Pistons. Davis was forced to leave the game early, but he was able to return, which is a good sign for his ability tonight.

If he's able to go, he's numberFire's second-highest projected DraftKings scorer for tonight's slate. Given his history against the Celtics, it's easy to see why.

Davis has scored at least 55 DraftKings points in each of his past five and in eight out of his past nine games against Boston. This includes a 65.5-point effort when the two teams faced off against one another November 26 of this year.

We have him projected to top that mark once again this evening, modeling him for 55.8 DraftKings points. As always, make sure he is playing! Fortunately, the game has a relatively early start time of 7:30 PS ET, so we should hopefully know something by the time lineups lock.
