3 NBA DraftKings Studs to Target on 11/9/18

I get it. A player with a $5,000 price tag might not be what you think of when picturing a daily fantasy basketball stud. If you are thinking like that, however, you should broaden your definitions.

Boston Celtics small forward Gordon Hayward has been mediocre to start this season, to say the least. He is setting a new career high in rebounds at 5.6 per game, but his 9.9 points and 2.2 assists are by far his worst numbers since his rookie season. He is shooting an abysmal 40.0% overall this season, which is easily the worst mark in his career and 7.1% lower than his last full season in 2016-17.

If there were any night to turn it around, then tonight is it. The narrative is there; he heads to Salt Lake City to take on the Utah Jazz, his long-time former team. He'll also have major opportunity to shoulder the offensive load with Kyrie Irving out tonight.

We actually only have him projected for 18.8 DraftKings points tonight, but we have his upside marked at 35.4. With emotions running wild and a chance to see his usage rocket with Kyrie out, I'm betting on him balling out and scoring closer to the latter.
