Damian Lillard, PG, Portland Trail Blazers

Price: $10,100

If we're factoring in salary, there's a pretty big step down from Kemba and Giannis to the rest of the studs on this slate, but Damian Lillard does stand out from the rest of the group.

Those second-ranked marks in both FanDuel points per game and per minute on the slate that I referred to above both belong to Lillard. His playing time is down this year (33.4 minutes per game are a career-low), but he's still making a career-high 8.9 field goals per game. He's also on pace for career-highs in both points (28.1) and rebounds (5.0) while adding 5.7 assists per game.

Career-high scoring on career-low playing time is not likely to be sustainable, but when you consider how much lower those minutes are than last year's (36.6 per game), we can expect his minutes to trend up, helping make up for potential regression in the scoring department.

Like Giannis on the other side of this game, his matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks is nothing to write home about. The Blazers will be playing way up in pace, though, as the Bucks rank 3rd compared to Portland's 16th in that category, so there should be plenty of opportunity for fantasy goodness.
