It's going to be hard to quit Anthony Davis this season.

We already knew he could be in for a special season with DeMarcus Cousins out of town, as he averaged better than 60 FanDuel points per game in 33 contests without Cousins last year, topping 90 FanDuel points a ridiculous 3 times.

The New Orleans Pelicans have been playing with an incredibly fantasy-friendly style to start the year, too, leading the NBA in offensive rating while also playing at the second-highest pace.

This has Davis averaging a ridiculous 1.93 FanDuel points per minute over three games. That pace isn't likely to be sustainable, but even regression to the 1.67 per minute he averaged without Cousins last year would leave him on pace for the second-highest single-season fantasy efficiency for a player (min. 500 minutes played) since 2000.

Unsurprisingly, the Pels' 122.5-point implied total tonight is the slate's highest, and we project Davis for the day's top fantasy score by a big margin.
